This is a limited edition photographic print of Omaha Beach in Normandy, France. This image was taken at 6.30am, the time the troops landed on the beach during the World War II D-Day landings.

I was in France working on an artist residency in the town of Deauville and I made a body of work based around the diary of a young woman called Odette Brefort. She was living in the town under German occupation during WW2 and became a member of the French Resistance. This image was part of my research and the whole project can be viewed over at my website (link can be found in my about page)

Material: 308gsm acid free Hahnemuhle photo rag paper.

The images are professionally printed, carefully wrapped and shipped in a sturdy tube.
